Hi! I'm Lyndol. Lyndol Keith Woodruff. I am a passionate student of life & personal development, recovery advocate, event host, speaker, aspiring author, and business owner.
I've been a renegade my whole life, and that has created a lot of magic, and a lot of misfit. I have no idea how I am alive. But here I am! Live and Direct.
I lived my whole life wanting to be famous. After a lot of soul searching, I have learned where that desire came from and I have healed from it. It's been a process. Life is a process of progress, not perfection. I spent a lot of years in LA trying to become someone. Someone people recognized wherever I went. That's a daunting, exhausting task.
I survived Hollywood, despite alcoholism and addiction. I came home to Dallas in 2013 and did some cool things in video production and television. I started a podcast in 2020 and then had a relapse and had to go away for a while. It's called "Gettin' LIVE! with Lyndol Keith - the Opportunity Podcast. The 14 episodes I did are still live, though I am not currently doing it, but I am bringing it back because I enjoy learning new things from cool people.
I am the CEO of our little family business, Woodruff Home Improvements. My sister is the COO and my dad is the president. We have so much fun helping homeowners transform their homes by way of energy efficient windows & doors, and vinyl & hardie board siding. My dad started it as a side business in 1982, and it's always been by referral only. Now me and my sister are bringing into the next generation and building a company that strives to do it's best to help as many homeowners as possible so we can give back more to the community.
Life is a rollercoaster, and the one that I decided to hop on sure has been a thrilling one. I am committed to my recovery and plan to start writing my life in a series of short stories called "Memoirs of Magic and Misfit." Hopefully my journey will inspire others to never give up, always stay positive, have faith, look inward, and rise up.
